San Blas Islands TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Information

Mola Nega San Blas is a local tour operator based in the Guna Yala region of the Republic of Panama, specializing in authentic experiences in the world-famous San Blas Islands.

By making a reservation or payment through our website www.molanegasanblas.com, WhatsApp, or electronic payment links (including PagueloFácil), the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Offered

Mola Nega San Blas offers tourism services in the San Blas Islands, Guna Yala, including:

  • San Blas Islands day tours
  • Overnight stay packages (1 or more nights)
  • 4×4 ground transportation from Panama City
  • Boat transportation between islands
  • Island hopping tours
  • Cultural experiences with local Guna guides

All services are provided within the territory of the Guna Yala Comarca, Panama.

3. Reservations and Confirmation

To confirm any reservation, a mandatory deposit of USD 60 per person is required.

A reservation is considered confirmed only when:

  • The client has completed the required deposit payment.
  • Mola Nega San Blas has confirmed the booking via message or email.

The remaining balance must be paid in cash on the day of the tour unless otherwise agreed in advance.

4. Online Payments

Credit and debit card payments are processed through secure payment platforms such as PagueloFácil.

  • Mola Nega San Blas does not store banking or card information.
  • The client authorizes the corresponding charge at the moment of payment confirmation.
  • All payments are subject to bank approval and verification.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • The USD 60 deposit per person is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour date may qualify for rescheduling, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
  • In cases of extreme weather conditions or force majeure, Mola Nega San Blas may offer rescheduling options.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows on the day of the tour.

6. Entrance Fees and Local Charges

Entrance fees to the Guna Yala region and port taxes are NOT included in the price of the San Blas Islands tour or package unless explicitly stated otherwise.

These fees must be paid directly by the client at the local checkpoint or port.

Rates are established by the authorities of the Guna Yala Comarca and may change without prior notice. Mola Nega San Blas has no control over these charges.

7. Responsibility and Risks

The client acknowledges that activities in marine and natural environments involve inherent risks.

Mola Nega San Blas shall not be held responsible for:

  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Accidents resulting from failure to follow instructions
  • Delays caused by weather conditions or third parties
  • Decisions made by local authorities

All clients participate at their own risk and responsibility.

8. Punctuality

Clients must arrive at the designated meeting point and time provided by Mola Nega San Blas.

Failure to arrive on time may result in the loss of the tour without refund.

9. Minors

Children and minors must travel accompanied by a responsible adult.

The parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility during the service.

10. Itinerary Changes

For operational, weather-related, or community reasons, itineraries in the San Blas Islands may be modified without prior notice while maintaining the essence of the contracted service.

11. Data Protection

Personal information provided by clients will only be used for:

  • Processing reservations
  • Coordinating tourism services
  • Communications related to the tour

We do not share personal information with third parties except when necessary to process payments or comply with legal obligations.

12. Website Use

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Not use the website for fraudulent purposes
  • Not interfere with the security or operation of the website

13. Modifications

Mola Nega San Blas reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Changes become effective immediately upon publication on the website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.

Any dispute arising from the services provided by Mola Nega San Blas or activities in the San Blas Islands, Guna Yala shall be resolved before the competent courts of Panama.
